I thought it might be a fun project to snap a photo and post a blurb each day for a year as way to keep in touch with family and friends who are far away. And as a way to stop and smell the roses as they say. Even though in Chicago,for much of the year,the roses are covered in ice and snow and are often peed on by dogs.

Poor Chris. Had you been wearing an actual trucker's hat the attention may have been taken off your shoes. ;)
Pseudo. They are RICS. I got 'em back when the Crocs boom was beginning and I stumbled upon the RICS for $15 (half the $30 a new pair of traditional Crocs will run you).

Any causality of smell is irrelevant as I mostly wear them when going to rec sports league games. Smell is gonna happen regardless, so the Crocs (or Rics) hurt anything.

With a little extra effort, Chris could have been oh so three years ago...
Of course, me bringing up fashion invariably leads Andrea to bring up sweatpants, so I'll stay quiet....
I'll lay off the sweatpants and instead mention your elephant sweatshirt. It was completely awesome and seemingly appropriate for every occasion!
To atone: my sister recently came across a picture of me wearing floral s t r e t c h pants. Oh yeah, the 90s spit up all over yours truly. I think I also had striped denim shorts.
RICS?! I love it. Now I want a pair.
