I thought it might be a fun project to snap a photo and post a blurb each day for a year as way to keep in touch with family and friends who are far away. And as a way to stop and smell the roses as they say. Even though in Chicago,for much of the year,the roses are covered in ice and snow and are often peed on by dogs.

Wow, yeah, someone is getting right to the point there huh?!
Yeah, people are strange and paranoid. I've always kind of wanted to put a sign on the outside of the door that says, "Dear murderer, Welcome! I live in unit 2E. Please come up, help yourself to my silverware, and murder me." Which only be funny until I get robbed and murdered. But still.
Yeah, very true! Isn't this world we live in just nuts! I work daily with 30 potential murderers that could find unit 2E...
