Jessie is Robstown, TX, which, despite being the birthplace of Texas Hold 'Em, doesn't have readily available wifi. (Hence, Eric back as guestblogger.) Back in the 30s and 40s, however, Robstown did have a Farm Security Administration camp that housed migrant laborers and which was well documented by the FSA's photography program. (Which, of course, was established to report and document the plight of the poor farmer.) So, without further ado, Robstown, TX circa the early 40s:
