I thought it might be a fun project to snap a photo and post a blurb each day for a year as way to keep in touch with family and friends who are far away. And as a way to stop and smell the roses as they say. Even though in Chicago,for much of the year,the roses are covered in ice and snow and are often peed on by dogs.

Nope, they got 300 bucks worth, but I can file a claim and get it back since it was a Visa debit card.
Jerks.
I had that happen--someone emptied my checking account through my debit card buying music on iTunes. Bastards. But what's even better is that my parents had someone ring up over $5,000 on their credit card...at a Christian bookstore!!
