I know the that the Swine Flu was/is serious to many people. Especially in Mexico. Totally not a laughing matter. But if you thought that things were overly alarmist this time around (I can't say really- I didn't follow any of the story on tv and I read only a little about it online) then you should check out the 1976 swine flu vaccination adds. I thought it might be a fun project to snap a photo and post a blurb each day for a year as way to keep in touch with family and friends who are far away. And as a way to stop and smell the roses as they say. Even though in Chicago,for much of the year,the roses are covered in ice and snow and are often peed on by dogs.
