As I type, Eric is running to the liquor store to get another bag of ice. Tonight he is running project homemade ice cream. Making homemade ice cream makes him happier beyond belief so I usually am not much help as I stand around and grin and observe. The grocery was out of rock salt (for the machine) but Eric can't be stopped when there is homemade ice cream is to be had. So he stole a load of sidewalk ice melt from the building. And though I think this is shady and poisonous, Eric says that he will share this vat of cream and eggs and sugar with me.

Homemade ice cream
