I'd like to take this moment to welcome Mr. Obama to the job of being my president.I took in the inauguration today from Truman College where I waited in line to register for a biology class. (Don't ask. Let's just hope for some good science writing somewhere down the line.)
Every TV everywhere that I could see in Chicago shone out the events of our fellow Chicagoans becoming our new First Family.
