Somewhere after The Wonder Years but before Napoleon Dynamite was some beautiful television called Freaks and Geeks. Not even a full season, I believe, but oh such a delight to take in on DVD. Except for when it hit a little too close to home, which was at least once an episode.

I thought it might be a fun project to snap a photo and post a blurb each day for a year as way to keep in touch with family and friends who are far away. And as a way to stop and smell the roses as they say. Even though in Chicago,for much of the year,the roses are covered in ice and snow and are often peed on by dogs.

So, you had a turd in your bed? Gross, I hope this was prior to marrying my brother, or that at least it was Max's turd....
Actually (and thankfully) this never happened to me. But sitting at the lunch table where people talked about turd did happen occasionally. :)
