Chicago Days: Postcards to Those Who Live Elsewhere

I thought it might be a fun project to snap a photo and post a blurb each day for a year as way to keep in touch with family and friends who are far away. And as a way to stop and smell the roses as they say. Even though in Chicago,for much of the year,the roses are covered in ice and snow and are often peed on by dogs.

Love it:


Snow Ice Cream
(also known as Acid Rain Delight)

The old Huls family secret recipe
2 eggs
1.5 cups of sugar
3 Tbs vanilla
2 cans of condensed milk
Add snow to taste
