It doesn't get much better than chocolate cupcakes with green frosting. (Unless of course it's the nail parlor that has green polish and nail artists who all use the phrase 'How are you honey?' Makes my day.)

I thought it might be a fun project to snap a photo and post a blurb each day for a year as way to keep in touch with family and friends who are far away. And as a way to stop and smell the roses as they say. Even though in Chicago,for much of the year,the roses are covered in ice and snow and are often peed on by dogs.
