Such Great Heights
Eric has invited me to do a top ten best songs of the decade list with him. And so I begin here with my list. My list is in no particular order. It was hard enough to come up with just ten. (Below is the original version of the song which I also think is awesome. I almost couldn't decide which one to put up. So I put them both. This is not cheating. Eric.)

Octopus's Garden
This octopus seems to be getting a lot of attention from the scientific community for figuring out how to use coconut shells to make shelter. But I really think if I was an octopus I would have thought of that a long time ago.

Per Jessie's Request...
I'm lacking inspiration today. I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to guest bloggers.

Lazy Sunday
Although I did manage some human contact today in the form of a visit to the Siegel residence, mostly I did work and played Tecmo Bowl which, despite making Bo Jackson impossible to tackle and giving Lawrence Taylor the ability to block every single kick, remains an alltime classic.

Heisman Schmeisman
Even Jessie knew who the most outstanding college football player of 2009 was, and it wasn't Mark Ingram. Bah.

Guestblogging
***Eric is guestblogging this week for Jessie, who is out of town. Jessie's countdown (well, countup) will resume with the 35th thing Jessie likes about winter on Thursday evening***
My new year's resolution for 2010 is to do more performance art at work. It's important to have goals.
This type of scale might be hard to pull off though...

That the good to bad movie ratio is higher in the fall and winter than in the summer (after all the dumb blockbusters are out of the way). "Fantastic Mr. Fox" made me happy on so many levels. Wes Anderson, INCREDIBLE stop-action, good writing, great characters, awesome music. I was mesmerized.
